Flawless Dakore Akande Fronts Blanck Magazine’s SS16 ‘The Body Issue’

Dakore Egbuson-Akande is one of the most beautiful and decent actresses of our time. The award winning actress, wife and a proud mum, is the cover star for Blanck Magazine’s latest edition themed ‘The Body Issue’. In a grey tee worn over a black one-piece switsuit, the actress is all shades of gorgeous on the cover.

In an in-depth interview, Dakore talks to Blanck about being very self-conscious and working really hard to change the things she didn’t like about her body, using realistic and level headed approaches.
Speaking about losing all the postpartum weight and fitting into the media’s idea of what a TV star should look like, she attributes motivation and determination as elements that fueled her ability to shed all her baby weight and getting back into her filming business.
“It’s about what rocks your boat,” she says “but don’t let anyone dictate for you who you should be; skinny doesn’t mean beautiful.”
